Bernardo is an Electrical Engineer with 25+ years of experience developing innovative products across various industries. He has extensive managerial experience in start-up companies and a proven track record in successfully managing multidisciplinary teams dedicated to developing high quality electronic equipment. Since 2007 he has worked as an independent consultant and has assisted companies in meeting their specialized engineering needs by covering all aspects of the design cycle, from concept to full manufacturing support. In 2005 Bernardo co-founded and was VP of Engineering at Emano Tec, Inc, where he developed MedTab, a portable bedside documentation tool for health care providers. Prior to Emano Tec, Bernardo served as Director of Video Products at SMaL Camera Technologies, where he was responsible for designing video products based on SMaL's proprietary wide dynamic range CMOS image sensor technology. Bernardo co-founded Sound Vision, Inc. where he was responsible for designing a family of ARM based SOC, developed specifically for the digital still camera market.

Bernardo has extensive experience in the areas of project management, electronic design (analog and digital), FPGA and ASIC design, imaging systems, microcontroller and DSP based systems, PCB layout, embedded software, digital signal processing, mechanical design, optics, and domestic and off shore manufacturing. He is also fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew.

Bernardo received his B.S.E.E. form the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City, and studied in the M.S.E.E. program at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel.
