Mark has spent most of his career as an entrepreneur. In 1993, Mark co-founded ExpressPoint Technology
Services, Inc, (
www.expresspoint.com) a technology logistics company
based in Minneapolis, and served as COO, EVP Business Development and Director. ExpressPoint grew from 4 employees at inception to over 400 employees and $60M in sales by 1997.
In 1999 Mark co-founded Onex Communications, an ASIC company ultimately sold in 2001 to TranSwitch Corporation (NASDAQ: TXCC).
He is currently advising Powderhouse Productions, New England’s largest Producer of TV programming for cable networks, Formulatrix,
developer of protein crystallization automation and liquid handling solutions, DomaniCom, developer of a novel Secure Service Platform
for residences and businesses, JumpTap, the leader in targeted mobile advertising, among others.
Mark was a Director of
Integrated Healthcare Information Services, Inc. (
www.ihcis.com)
from inception to its sale to Ingenix a division of United
Healthcare in 2005. Early in his career, Mark spent several years at Advanced Technology Ventures, Ernst & Young and
PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mark's companies and clients have raised a total of over $100M from investors that include
General Catalyst, Redpoint, Summerhill Ventures, Star Ventures, Valhalla, Venrock, and Vesbridge. Mark is supportive and
involved in a number of non-profit organizations including American Liver Foundation, Wingspan Life Resources, The Winsor
School, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Music and Youth Initiative
(
www.musicandyouth.org). Mark received a BA and an MBA
from Boston College.
